U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials closed the U.S.-Mexico border crossing located near the southern Arizona town of Lukeville until further notice amid a high number of migrants crossing the border. The closure, which prohibits all vehicular and pedestrian traffic in both directions, is intended to free up additional security personnel to assist in detaining and processing undocumented migrants.
