On 3 February 2024, the U.S. and U.K. military forces conducted another round of airstrikes against approximately 30 targets across 13 different locations in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, including the capital Sanaa. The latest airstrikes involving military aircraft and warships were carried out with the support of other allied nations, including Australia, Bahrain, Canada and Denmark. The targets comprised Houthi ammunition storage sites, as well as command and control hubs, and are intended to diminish the Houthis’ ability to perpetrate attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea.
