On 19 December 2023, the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen issued a Security Alert, which reads in part as follows: “Danish National Police have increased security in public places, especially in Copenhagen and near Jewish and Israeli institutions following the December 14 arrests of individuals suspected of planning a terrorist attack.”
