On 20 August 2021, the U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) issued updated travel advice for North Macedonia, which reads in part as follows: “From 1 September, anyone arriving into North Macedonia from abroad will need to present either:

  • a full vaccination certificate, or;
  • a negative PCR test made in the 72 hours before entering the country, or;
  • a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 in the last 45 days, counting from the day of recovery.

“Foreign nationals can transit through North Macedonia within 5 hours by producing a signed statement at the border.”
