A number of anti-government protests are planned throughout Hong Kong from 10-12 January 2020. Beginning at 1300 local time (0500 UTC) on 10 January “Lunch with You” demonstrations are planned for San Po Kong and at the Hong Kong Industrial Centre in Cheung Sha Wan. An additional “Lunch with You” demonstration is scheduled to begin in Central at 1245 local time; however, organizers have not yet released details on the exact location of the demonstration.

Multiple events are planned throughout the day on 11 January. From 1400-1700 local time protesters are expected to gather at the “Lennon Wall” — an area where supporters of the protest movement can share messages — in Admiralty. Following the event, between 1900 and 2200 local time demonstrators are expected to gather at Lennon Walls throughout all 18 districts of Hong Kong. Separately, demonstrators are expected to gather at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin between 1500 and 1700 local time to hand out flyers encouraging citizens to support businesses that endorse the ongoing protests.

On 12 January an anti-government “Karma to Commies” demonstration is scheduled to occur from 1500-1700 local time at Edinburgh Place in Central. The event is a precursor to a march scheduled to take place on 19 January, which is currently scheduled to begin on Chater Road at 1500 local time and conclude at the SOGO department store in Causeway Bay. Organizers applied for a Letter of No Objection, which is currently pending. In addition to the aforementioned planned events, spontaneous demonstrations are also likely to occur throughout the territory.
